Casual Position starting with 4-10 hours.
To be successful for this position you must have the following:

  • Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker screening check
  • First Aid & CPR
  • NDIS Orientation Modules
  • COVID19 Infection Control (Australian Government)
  • Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

1+ years experience in Disability, Aged Care or Allied Health Preferred. (No formal qualifications are required)

Experience with Mental Health conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, Schizophrenia, ASD and more (can be personal experience or work related experience)


Job Role


As a disability support worker, you will be required to assist clients in their own homes with daily life activities such as personal care, meal preparation and domestic assistance.


You may be required to provide support with:

  • Positive Behaviour Support
  • Personal Care (Showering, bathroom assistance & grooming)
  • Medication Monitoring (We provide on the job training and nationally recognised certificate)
  • Incontinence (Uridome or Pad changes
  • Training provided)
  • Domestic Assistance (Light House Work)
  • Mental Health Support
  • Meal Preparations
  • Social Support

Shifts Available

Job Types:
Part-time, Casual

Part-time hours: 10-20 per week


Salary:
$ $40.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Afternoon shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Night shift
  • Overtime
  • Public holidays
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus
  • Overtime
pay

  • Penalty rates
  • Performance bonus

COVID-19 considerations:
Covid-19 Vaccination is preferred but not required as per the current mandates.
Face Masks, Hand Sanitiser and other PPE is supplied.
