You will provide purposeful leadership and direction to create a high performing team environment, providing oversight and management of Claims Team Operational/strategic activities in line with financial divisional objectives
.
You will demonstrate the ability to manage positive relationships across all key scheme stakeholders to co-ordinate activities; meet and exceed required standards and demonstrate continuous improvement in the execution of all business processes and initiatives.
You will provide outstanding leadership through role modelling, consistent coaching at all levels to strengthen skills and productivity; and drive performance and outcomes through activities that build team engagement and employee satisfaction.
What you'll do
- Drive performance of the team that delivers team results against the business strategy and financial targets
- Motivate, develop, empower and engage team members to drive results and create a high performing team.
- Manage day to day workflow; resources, productivity and efficiency, ensuring performance objectives are met.
- Collaborate with Technical Advisor, Return to Work Specialist and Injury Management Advisor to identify and implement development opportunities for team members.
- Analyse data and reports to identify trends performance improvement.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement projects
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and claims management strategies.
- Develop strong relationships with peers to drive department culture and engagement initiatives.
- Build, enhance and maintain quality relationships with all internal and external customers and key stakeholders
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated experience in workers' compensation claims management, personal injury claims or an associated field
- Experience leading a team of people or demonstrated ability to lead, engage and motivate others
- Demonstrated business acumen including the ability to understand data, identify area of opportunity and deliver to business targets
- Solid stakeholder management experience with the ability to manage expectations and balance the needs of multiple parties
