Retail Banking Services (RBS) offers market-leading products and services, supported by some of the world's best systems and processes. The team are responsible managing the credit risk for collections portfolio. We use data to inform and make decisions, aiming to balance revenue, losses and expenses. We work closely with the front-line teams, and the technology teams to implement and execute our strategies.


On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Be part of the team that is involved in the redesign of existing collections strategies as part Simpler Better Collections (SBC) program.
  • Partner with stakeholders from broad crossfunctional teams to deliver our new strategic collections platform.
  • Collaborate with the project, compliance and business stakeholders to ensure all business readiness activities are completed prior to deployment.
  • Adhoc Analysis and Testing, utilising hypothesisled approach to conceptualise a problem to find core drivers.
  • Produce monthly reports for Senior Management and present complex analysis to a variety of nontechnical audiences.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Come from a Credit Risk analytical or collections environment.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and statistical analysis (SAS, SQL, R, Excel).
  • Prior experience working with decision engines is preferred.
  • Ability to work with large data sets and understand interactions between relevant data.
  • Experience in change management, influencing, workflow management, and managing to the highest degree of compliance and governance including documentation.
