ABOUT THE ROLE


In this role, you'll oversee the management, development, growth, and sustainability of the AFL Hunter Central Coast junior and senior leagues.

As a key senior team member of the Regional NSW & ACT Community Football team, you'll play a central role in executing our Community Football Competitions.


  • This exciting opportunity is based in the Hunter Central Coast Region and includes a company vehicle or car allowance._

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

_Key Accountabilities:
_


  • Coordinate and execute AFL Hunter Central Coast competitions, ensuring that the Home & Away and League finals series provide a topquality experience for participants, officials, umpires, and volunteers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with the AFL Hunter Central Coast board, League and Club presidents, and other essential stakeholders.
  • Provide valuable support and direction to competitions and Leagues, shaping competition structures and implementing programs for competitive balance and club sustainability.
  • Manage League rules, ensuring alignment with national guidelines and smooth implementation of bylaw changes.
  • Collaborate with the AFL Game Development engagement team, offering education and support to regions for localized league and club assistance.
  • Keep the financial aspects in harmony by managing budgets, handling invoices, payments, and preparing financial reports.
  • Be a mentor to your peers in the Regional NSW & ACT team, inspiring positive growth and influence.
  • Contribute actively to crucial projects both within and outside your core role, ensuring success across the board.

  • Ready and willing to work outside regular hours, including evenings and weekends, due to the nature of the sports industry.
