The role:

If you have a love of logistics, event operations, and group travel management, and are able to travel around Australia to manage conferences and events onsite - this is the role for you:

  • You will manage and take ownership of event operations and logistics for small-medium sized events (up to 250 pax)
- reporting in directly to the Event Directors

  • You will handle group travel management requirements including group flights, transfers, and accommodation blocks
  • You will be selfmotivated with a proactive approach and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • You will have excellent communication skills which will allow you to work successfully with internal stakeholders as well as building strong client and supplier relationships
  • You will have strong project management abilities planning, coordinating and successful delivery of the event content and collateral
  • Work within budget and deadlines to meet high operational standards
  • Collate risk assessment documents and work with senior staff to identify and quantify potential risks.
  • Coordinate audio visual requirements, theming, activities and entertainment with client and suppliers
  • Successfully manage event data and registration process via EventsAIR
  • Venue and supplier sourcing
  • A tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential, ideally in Event Management, Business or Hospitality Management.
  • A minimum of 23 years work experience in a related field, e.g. event management, travel, project planning, administration, conference production
  • EventsAIR (or similar events software) knowledge is highly desirable
  • Group travel management experience including management of group flights and accommodation blocks is highly regarded (GDS system knowledge preferred but not essential)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage events from end to end
  • Proactive mindset with advanced communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and follow critical paths and meet deadlines from start to finish
  • Applicant must hold a valid drivers' license
  • The ability to travel both domestically and internationally when required

Salary & benefits:

- $70K-80K plus super plus onsite allowance
