  • The Opportunity
  • We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Fleet Scheduler to join our team in Kurri Kurri NSW. Based on site with our customer, one of the world's leading mining providers, we provide specialised logistics services for the safe and secure movement, handling and storage of bulk dangerous goods, servicing the hunter valley region of NSW.
  • As a Fleet Scheduler, you will:
  • Allocate drivers to maximise fleet utilisation and monitor compliance of driver's timesheets, Safe driving plans and logbook records
  • Ensure customer transport requirements are met within contract scope
  • Administrative tasks and monitoring of operational KPI's
  • Develop and implement weekly operations plans
  • Assist management with monitoring operational costs vs contract plans
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, Codes of Practice and company policies and procedures.

  • About you:
  • Experience in Fleet Allocation/Scheduling role essential
  • A sound knowledge of the Road Traffic Act as it relates to heavy vehicles.
  • A sound knowledge of dangerous Goods rules and regulations (desired)
  • A sound knowledge of NHVR guidelines
  • Excellent planning and organising skills
  • Customer relationship management skills
  • Excellent computer skills
