Our client is an event management company specialising in end-to-end event management, production, and creative services.

They live and breathe events and aim to wow their corporate clients with creative event strategies that align with their brand message.

They are looking for an experienced Live Events Lead to join their Event Services team, managing an event project delivery team, as well as overseeing and delivering world-class events domestically and internationally


The role:


  • Inspire, lead and mentor your live events team, ensuring their personal and professional development and growth
  • Contribute to the business's commercial success through strategic business development and growth via account management and new sales leads
  • Exceptional stakeholder management working closely with the client and relevant internal departments to deliver seamless, hightouch experiences with worldclass customer service
  • Overall accountability for project pitches; development, content, and presentation of customer proposals
  • Fully accountable for the projects under your direction, collaborate with the Events Leader, Sales Team, and the client to ensure that event briefs and budgets are fully understood and managed to deliver creative and logístically sound solutions
  • Responsible for all elements of project management
- including critical path, budget, resourcing, execution, briefing, supplier and venue contracts, reconciliation and reporting

  • You must have a minimum 58 years' experience as a Project or Event Manager in an agency environment
  • Proven event/project management operational experience in both domestic and international locations
  • You will be driven to do what's necessary to deliver above and beyond the client's expectations
  • Proven commercial acumen, business planning, and management of large budgets
  • Experience managing a team of direct reports and developing them to their full potential
  • You will be customer centric with superior attention to detail
  • Confident in managing corporate clients/stakeholders and able to create strong working relationships quickly
  • You will have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Be team orientated and results driven
  • You will possess the resilience to handle a fastpaced working environment, be able to work autonomously, with a passion for excellence
  • Experienced in event software
  • EventsAIR including OnAir (essential), Microsoft Office, Wrike, Procim, and other virtual event platforms as required
  • Available for both domestic and international travel

Salary & benefits:

- $140K plus super including generous full-time employee entitlements
