As Macmahon's RTO Trainer your expertise in dump truck operations, coupled with your passion for developing new talent for the business and industry, will contribute to the success and safety of our mining operations.


Responsibilities

  • Identify training needs for site personnel
  • Ensure Site Crew Trainers remain current and proficient on the operations they train/assess
  • Actively promote and participate in professional development activities
  • Deliver educational programs
  • Provide advice on the requirements of legislation, guidelines, codes of practice, standards
  • Conduct site training audits
  • Ensure training and assessment documentation is completed correctly, filed and archived
  • Identify and support mentors and review training progress
  • Evaluate and report on all site training and education activities

Qualifications

  • Cert IV in Training & Assessing (or equivalent)
  • Competent operating a variety of heavy machinery; dump truck, loader and ancillary equipment as a minimum
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with people at all levels
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
