Purpose and responsibilities of the role
60% Business Development (typically supporting 1 x Director, 2 x Partners) - Participate as a key member of the team and drive activities)

Support business development activities:

  • Regular review of existing contacts and follow up to schedule meetings
  • Weekly review of BD activities with Director determine priorities and problem solve issues
  • Company and contact research to:
  • Maintain CRM data integrity
  • Assist with BD campaigns (under guidance of Director)
  • Brief Director on companies, contacts in preparation for meetings
  • Create and maintain CRM (Salesforce) data companies, contacts, opportunities and tasks associated with BD activities
  • Proposal support (document preparation, compilation, proofreading, printing and binding)
  • Schedule account plan meetings and circulate account plan reports
  • 5% People Development (Support the Director deliver on their Development Leader and People Management responsibilities)
  • Schedule regular meetings with PIPers
  • Track development plans and performance reviews
  • 15% Diary management (Be two steps ahead of your Director and anticipate their needs)
  • Diary management
15% Logistics (Proactively team up with your Director to ensure you give them most possible leverage for their time)

  • Travel and accommodation
  • Special needs (get to know what will help them be successful in their role)

  • An interest in the substance and commercial impact of PIP's work

Systems Skills

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and an ability to learn additional software quickly. Whilst an advanced knowledge of MS Excel is not required, there is a need to be familiar with the software and able to format reports, making them more readable for others.
  • Prior experience using Salesforce
would be highly regarded
