Balance Mobility is a locally owned, Gold Coast based business where we provide best practice Mobility Equipment to the Aged Care and NDIS Sector.


Our retail offices are located in Biggera Waters and Tweed Heads and the position will be full time at Biggera Waters.

Our small but highly successful company is growing fast, so we have never been busier, and we need an experienced Bookkeeper/Administrator to assist with general Finance and Administration duties including:

  • Accounts administration
  • Recording transactions and journal entries accurately
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • All responsibilities relating to Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Warranties, Claims and refunds
  • Organising freight for international orders
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Payroll processing and management
  • Monthly reporting including P&L and cash flow reporting
  • General ledger and reconciliations
  • GST & BAS
  • Assisting in preparation of end of year financials
  • Adhoc reporting and processing tasks as required
  • General admin duties and client support


Ideally, we're seeking a happy, friendly person with strong XERO experience and intermediate/advanced skills with advanced MS Excel and MS Word.


  • Minimum 2 years experience in bookkeeping/administration
  • Advanced skills in Xero
  • Min Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping
  • Ability to work independently and selfmotivated
  • Positive 'can do' approach, friendly, and passionate about helping others
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
  • An understanding of basic accounting functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in the Accounts Receivable and Payables
  • Excellent organisational skills, time management and proven ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to take direction as well as use initiative and work unsupervised

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$60, $75,000.00 per year

Education:


  • Certificate I
  • IV (preferred)

Experience:


  • Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
