LMS leads the industry in this field and is responsible for destroying methane across the majority of the country's landfill sites.

They exist to reduce the climate impact of waste, converting it into renewable energy and preventing methane from being released into the atmosphere.


About the Role


The role of the Installation Technician will be responsible for the preparation and installation of gas extraction systems on landfills.

You will be required to frequently travel to intrastate and interstate sites to work outside in a dynamic and hazardous landfill environments.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and install biogas wells once drilling is complete
  • Complete setup of manifold stations
  • Place and connect flow lines to biogas wells
  • Undertake installation and filling of J Traps
  • Undertake bedding of trenches
  • Manage the setup and use of laser levels
