Here at Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network, the Administration Officer Level 3 The Administration Officer role provides clerical and administrative support to the local healthcare team under the direction and supervision of the Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) and/or Nurse Manager 5 (NM).

The role will include word processing, database management, information management, typing and filing of confidential release planning documentation and other related reports.

The role and responsibilities are to be carried out in a manner that is consistent with delegations, policies, procedures and operations systems of JH&FMHN, and in line with both the NSW Health Code of Conduct and JH&FMHN Code of Conduct.

Hold or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration

  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills that include accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and the ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
  • Exhibits strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
