The Defence and Security group aims to keep Military training devices such as flight simulators up to date so that they are at the cutting edge of the various aeronautical improvements that the industry offers.
The role we are offering you:
- You will be part of a multidisciplinary team in charge of updating the software components of the computing complex, the avionic systems, the visual system and other systems that compose our flight simulator products used to train pilots and other Defence personnel.
- You will participate in the development, integration and validation of systems and products, from simulation to user interface (software and hardware).
- You will review and troubleshoot simulator architecture, systems networking and I/O
- You will provide supervision and technical support to developers in the integration of their systems, while ensuring that all requirements are met.
- You will be facilitating the communication between our customer and our design team for the resolution of software issues.
- You will be traveling the region to work from our customer sites to achieve the integration of our own software solutions.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
- Knows the C/C++ programming languages and scripting languages.
- Knows the Windows and LINUX operating systems.
- Has a good understanding of softwarehardware interface concepts.
- Has experience using configuration management tools (eg. Github).
- Has a solid understanding of the System Engineering Lifecycle.
- Has the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.

_ __as the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) or Baseline clearance. Australian citizens only._
