ACRWORLD have been working exclusively with this leading construction, engineering, environmental and contract maintenance services
company who are looking to add to their HR function.

This highly regarded powerhouse business going to from strength to strength and are now needing an experienced HR professional to take control of their dynamic construction business.

The great thing about this role is it will allow for complete autonomy and allow the next HR professional to "run things their way" as per what the General Manager said.

The Role:


The main purpose of this role is to take
full ownership of the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment, organizational culture and values, employee relations, organisational effectiveness, employee recognition and performance appraisals within your region.

You will report into the CEO and and work close alongside another HR professional so a strong team unit is present.


Your day to day should look like...

  • Involvement in daytoday activity across the spectrum of generalist Human Resources Practices,
  • Handling of sensitive and confidential personal, ER and IR matters,
  • Managing the implementation and continual development of HR policies and procedures,
  • Provide employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions and employee benefits,
  • Managing internal employee movements to ensure high employee engagement and retention,
  • Advising on dispute management solutions in line with agreements and EBA's,
  • You will be an integral member of the People and Human Resources team,
  • You will work with the business unit heads on site to look at systems and processes to ensure best practice, talent management and succession planning,
  • Maintain records and statistical reports on hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.

Preferred experience includes:


  • A minimum of 23 years in Human Resources, preferably in a Civil or Mining or Construction in Australia
  • Good knowledge of Australian employment legislation,
  • Experience in managing a large, but constantly changing workforce,
  • A Human Resources qualification, but more importantly a passion and energy for your job,
  • The ability to collaborate with people on all levels in the business.
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience,
  • You are a selfstarter and can work autonomously,
  • Experience across the full employee lifecycle,
  • Exceptional attention to detail with good written and verbal communication.
