The Role
Step into Lion to lead keg and can production at our renowned XXXX brewery. This all-encompassing role includes safety, quality, engineering, people leadership, continuous improvement, cost and delivery

Lead a team of 3 Team Leaders and 1 Area Engineer, plus 40 indirect reports
Manage delivery and accountability of all KPIs within cans and kegs, incl. customer complaints, efficiencies, performance delivery in full/on time and product output
Maintain and achieve sustainability metrics
Manage capital projects and value creation opportunities
Project management and delivery of innovation and NPD projects
Drive continuous improvement and a waste elimination culture in the packaging team
Be a 2IC to our Packaging Manager, opportunity to step and backfill his role as needed
Champion a safety culture and compliance

About You
To succeed in this role, you will have worked in food and beverage and understand how packaging lines work, as well as bringing

Leadership experience
Understanding of lean principles, with experience in optimisation and eliminating waste
A collaborative approach, ability to work in a team to achieve outcomes
Project management
Excellent stakeholder management and courage to challenge the status quo
Tertiary qualification
