Ventia have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic IoT team which designs, manufactures, installs, and operates IoT solutions across a range of industries.

Could you be our next Operations Manager?

  • A seasoned operations engineer of manager with very strong organisational skills
  • Experienced in endtoend solution planning, logistics and execution, of hardware solutions
  • Experience is specification and operation of data delivery and visualisation platforms
  • A great team player, great at collaborating with clients to achieve the best outcomes, with excellent communication skills
  • Have a tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or other related discipline
  • Can manage resources both physical inventories and the teams tasked with delivering solutions
  • Experienced with IoT, LPWAN, LoRaWAN, RF networks is advantageous
  • Knowledgeable on IoT solutions and use cases, IoT security and architecture is advantageous

What You'll Do

  • Design IoT solutions in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
  • Support IoT device and network deployment
  • Work with suppliers and partners to resource our projects and operations
  • Perform procurement, logistics and inventory management
  • Communicate solutions to clients and partners
  • Support manufacturing operations
  • Support IoT device testing and assembly
  • Support RFI/RFP/RFQs
  • Actively follow technology trends and introduce new products and solutions accordingly
  • Use and maintain visualisations built on platforms such as PowerBI and Grafana

About Us
Ventia's Next Generation Asset Management team provides end to end IoT solutions to Ventia and other clients. We both manufacture IoT devices and integrate 3rd party devices and solutions. We build, operate and maintain the carrier grade LoRaWAN network. Our solutions span from devices collecting data in the field through to data delivery and analysis for the client.
