Salt is excited to partner with a state government agency to source a communications officer with will develop and implement marketing communications plans.

What is on offer:

Start date: 01/04/24
End date: 28/06/24
Pay: $5562 per hour + super (depending on experience)
Location: Leichhardt office, hybrid working

What will you be doing?:

Develop and implement internal and external marketing and communications plans to support program objectives, initiative, and projects.
Create, edit and proof content for a range of internal and external communication channels to ensure accurate and integrated key messaging.
Measure, evaluate and report the effectiveness of communications and channels through feedback loops built into all communications plans and activities.
Contribute to the effective management and scheduling of communications by contributing to the Media and Communications calendar and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
Undertake research and analysis, using best practice methodologies to support and deliver evidence based communications

What will you bring?:

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing innovative communication and marketing strategies that drive engagement and build brand awareness and reputation.
Highlevel communications skills with the ability to write compelling information that achieves objectives and reinforces key messaging.
Strong planning and prioritisation skills, the ability to monitor and measure performance of campaigns and other communications and to use this information to drive continuous improvement.
Tertiary qualifications in internal and external communications, public relations, journalism or marketing combined with relevant experience gained in a complex organisation and an understanding of the machinery of Government.
