THE OPPORTUNITY:

The business requires a Loan Kit Technician to work within the Loan Kit Team in the Osborne Park Office.

This role will be a month contract initially with potential for extension/conversion into the business.


ABOUT THE ROLE:


  • Shipment, delivery and tracking of instrument kits to Public and Private Hospitals across WA and interstate.
  • Assembly of medical implants used in Orthopaedic and Spinal procedures.
  • Instrument kit management including, dispatch, inspection outgoing and incoming, maintenance of instruments (including replacement and/or repair where necessary), return of contaminated kits as per company policy.
  • Maintain stock & kit documentation order acknowledgements, checklists, usage sheets, packing slips and delivery notes.
  • Overview: Loan Kit roles are quite unique and are primarily needed for orthopaedic and spine surgery. When patients require surgery, hospitals will contact the company about what is required and the Loan Kit Technician is responsible for assembling the surgical kit that surgeons then use in hospitals to carry out the surgery. Once prepared, the kit is sent out to the hospital to be used. Post surgery, kits are returned and sent back for sterilisation and cleaning._
