  • Level 6/7: $84,793 $104,996 (prorata)+ 17% Superannuation
The Researcher Development Unit (RDU) sits within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Sustainable Futures) portfolio.

The portfolio works with the Faculties to build an outstanding research community that values emerging researchers and supports research-active staff to achieve the highest quality results and disseminate their benefits to user communities.


The RDU delivers programs and activities aligned with UOW's research priorities and strategic goals to support the development of researchers across all career stages - from graduate researchers to professors.

The team undertake a diverse range of high-volume tasks in a complex work environment.

We collaborate with other units to:
- design and implement initiatives that support the development of researchers, in particular those colleagues from underrepresented groups;
- support the development of responsible research leaders; and
- promote and support recognition opportunities for researchers.

We are seeking two highly motivated individuals to join a dynamic team dedicated to advancing researcher development. As a Researcher Development Coordinator you be responsible for facilitating the successful delivery of approved RD programs and initiatives.

You will play a key role in building and maintaining strong links with other relevant units and teams to ensure a collaborative approach to developing, implementing, delivering, and reviewing our programs and support for research colleagues.

You will have the opportunity to develop programs and processes that support our initiatives and our research colleagues.
