Due to continued growth this well established industry leader is now looking for a dedicated and experienced technician to work out of their Sydney base.

The ideal applicant will perform service and calibrations of dynamic weighing equipment and assist the sales team with installations of new equipment with potential for strong growth through the portfolio of products.

Calibration work is conducted on site at customers premises across the greater Sydney region so travel is a requirement of the job from time to time.

Duties will include:

Conducting routine service visits to perform scheduled maintenance, calibration and verification of dynamic weighing equipment including belt scales, impact weighers, gravimetric bin levels, weigh rollers and metal detectors.
Responding to new incoming service enquiries.
Liaising directly with clients to identify opportunities for service, maintenance or product upgrades.

To be successful in this role you must have:

Trade Qualifications or relevant industry experience with a strong working knowledge of weighing equipment.
Thorough understanding of what is involved in a service technicians role with the expectation that travel and after hours work (paid overtime) will be required.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to consult with your clients on technical issues.
