This role will be working with the Project Executive, other project resources, ICT Portfolio Management and relevant business stakeholders.


The Organisational Change Manager will be an advocate for a postinve end user and workforece expereince, reporting to the Project Manager and will focus on the people side of change, as well as changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organisation structures and alignment to the values.


Responsibilities:


  • Work in partnership with the QFES enterprise OCM, business units and communications staff, where required, to implement effective and coordinated change management and engagement activities.
  • Ensure change activities meet objectives and the associated industrial and consultative requirements.
  • Support and promote change management strategies that are based on situational analysis, clear understanding of the details of changes, and awareness of the engagement of staff groups being impacted by the relevant change.
  • Contribute towards project/initiative success by ensuring stakeholders are fully aware and understand products, services, and artefacts to be delivered.
  • Scope and implement change management and communications required by each project/initiative to facilitate shifts in thinking and working.
  • Develop and implement, change artefacts, to increase the level of change effectiveness with key stakeholders to ensure buyin, stakeholder and solution readiness, and adoption.
  • Be responsible for the overall effectiveness of change management plans in relation to stakeholder management, communication, training, coaching, and acceptance management.
  • Collaborate closely with the relevant project managers and business executives to ensure the desired business outcomes are achieved.
  • Identify and provide mitigation strategies for the change impacts associated with business and technological change.
  • Provide advice about the change impacts associated with strategic alignment of business priorities with operational drivers and imperatives.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations.
  • Undertake communication activities detailed in approved communication plans.
  • Prepare a range of written materials including reporting, executive correspondence, briefing notes, speech notes, and information papers concerned with the portfolio of work.
  • Develop business policies, procedures, and role statements, where required, to embed changes.
  • Provide training materials and deliver training as and when required.

Reqruirements:


  • At least 5 years of experience in Organisational Change Management in complex transformation projects.
  • Experience leading change that incorporates cultural, organisational structure, policy, process, as well as technology change.
  • Experience in endtoend change management which includes strategies to implement and embed change into BAU Business Units, including building capability to manage change.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies including root cause analysis, value streams, service alignment and identifying and mitigating change impacts.
  • Experience using impact analysis frameworks such as McKinseys 7, Culture Web, BTOPP and facilitating workshops with stakeholders to understand impacts.
  • Experience creating and maintaining tailored change management artefacts, including:
  • Change management strategy/plans o Stakeholder registry/analysis o Creating and maintaining stakeholder reference groups o Business/stakeholder impact analysis/mitigations o Impact analysis/mitigations
  • Engaging and concise communication materials
  • User friendly training materials and capability development strategy o Project Executive (Sponsor) coaching plan
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including ability to establish relationships, facilitate workshops and presentations, consult and influence both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and delivering presentations and facilitating workshops to all levels of staff within an organisation.
  • Proven ability to understand the impact of project objectives and business requirements on an organisation and translate these for consumption with target audiences in an operational environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and use advanced communication (written and verbal) to convey complex information to both operational staff and senior management.
  • Proven ability as a selfstarter, takes initiative, and able to work autonomously executing tasks aligned to the strategy independently with mínimal guidance.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and multiple pieces of work.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
