Orygen Specialist Program provides mental health services to young people aged 15-25 and their families/carers in Melbourne's northwest and western suburbs.-**Your new role: - A multiple multidisciplinary role open to Grade 3 Registered Mental Health Nurses and Grade 2 Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Psychologists.


In this role, you will:
_

  • Partner with young people and families/carers to provide inpatientlike care within the home environment
  • Provide discipline specific interventions and recoverfocused care in the home including risk assessments and policies, assessment of risk in provision of care
  • Demonstrate skills in mental health and risk assessment, interventions, least restrictive practices and improved outcomes using evidence based best practice.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and receive supervision and support with professional development

About You:


  • Passionate about mental health and making a positive impact to the lives of young people and their families/carers
  • Previous experience in clinical practice within the mental health field, preferably with young people experiencing mental health disorders
  • Ability to develop, implement and evaluate clientcentred individual service plans, risk assessments and diagnostic formulations
  • Ability to provide, or develop skills in, integrated assessment, treatment and care for consumers with dualdiagnoses
