Our client is a highly successful industrial business experiencing positive growth as they continue to take over market share in their industry through acquisitions, with a goal to build a stable and high performing business for their employees.

Due to this positive growth, they have a newly created role for a HR Officer to join the team.

This is a newly created role to the team and there is flexibility for either a full time role or part time hours (5 days per week shorter days or 3 days per week)

Duties include but not limited to:

Manage the HR inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner
Create and issue HR documentation, including contracts, variation letters and ER letters
Creating and coordinating a welcoming onboarding experience for new hires.
Ensuring and supporting positive employee relations
Ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and procedures
Developing effective relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders
Updating and maintaining all employee files
To ensure the safety of all employees and to abide by WH&S legislation
Coordinating training and development for all staff
Enterprise Agreement interpretation

About You

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and / or minimum 2 years' experience in HRrelated roles.
Prior experience within a blue collar employee environment
Ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
Excellent organisational and time management skills; ability to navigate conflicting demands and priorities; and meet deadlines.
