The Rostering Officer in the Aged and Community Support Team and is responsible for providing a range of timely and accurate administrative support and rostering services that are designed to maintain the safety and independence of older Monash residents within the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).


About the Position:

The position is the key point of contact for clients, care workers and is responsible for ensuring the rosters are maintained and updated for the best possible outcomes, reflecting the goal directed needs of the client


The role is:
Fast-paced

Phone-based

Integral for rostering direct care workers to provide CHSP aged care services in clients' homes and the community


Skills and Experience:

Qualifications and/or experience working in a customer service rostering role within a community environment and/or Local Government environment.

Ability and willingness to provide exemplary customer service to people within Council and the community.

Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail and working through set rostering reports.

Experience working in a team.

Ability to manage own time effectively and work independently following set procedures in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.

Experience with using Microsoft Office, GoldCare and or other Community Care rostering software packages.


Requirement of the position:

Satisfactory National Police Check

Current Victorian driver's licence

Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
