THE ROLE


The Lecturer in Marketing will have scholarly expertise in either customer experience, marketing technologies, business-to-business marketing or marketing strategy and innovation.

The successful applicant will work across all areas of academic activity, including education, research, engagement and service.

You will continue to build your skills and make strong contributions to high-impact research, develop, coordinate and teach high-quality, student-centred undergraduate and postgraduate units, and supervise research students.

You will make a positive contribution to the Department's culture of collaboration and innovation, support delivery of strategic goals and enhance the reputation of the Department, School and University.

About You


The successful applicant will be a highly motivated academic with industry knowledge combined with a PhD in marketing or evidence of equivalent research recognition in a related discipline.

You will have a research program in a relevant area and a track record of high-quality publications.

You will have proven ability of delivering applied and engaging educational experiences, demonstrated commitment to quality and a student first focus along with demonstrating a collaborative approach in the way you work with others.

If you have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach, you will undoubtedly flourish in this role and enjoy working in the Department of Marketing at Macquarie Business School.

To Apply

  • A relevant PhD or equivalent.
  • Strong contributions to scholarship and research in marketing areas such as digital marketing, social media analytics, marketing innovation and customer experience.
  • Proven, highquality research in marketing (especially in the areas listed above) as evidenced by recent publications in highquality, highimpact factor A* and A journals (listed in ABDC ranking as A* and A).
  • Record of teaching excellence and involvement in course development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels (in quantitative and qualitative analytics, marketing strategy and innovation, B2B marketing,
