Description
Who is M2 P Engineering?M2 P Engineering are a market leading construction, engineering and fabrication service provider specialising in heavy industrial Structural, Mechanical, and Piping (SMP) projects across Australia.
A few quick notes about what we do: To date, our key achievements include major SMPconstructionprojects at remote mine sites, both surface and underground, and industrial facilities in our key operating centres.
Scopes we have successfully completed include crushing and conveying systems, mineral processing facilities, ventilation, refrigeration and associated infrastructure.We have recently expanded our service offering to include Energy, Oil and Gas projects.
M2 P have a number of strategically placed workshops across the country where we fabricate heavy industrial pipework, platework and structural steel.
We also design & manufacture our own patented specialised inflatable products, which are used in a number of innovative industrial safety, ventilation & production applications.
We've built all of this with determination, plenty of hard work and a little bit of luck, in the short space of time, since M2 P was established in 2017 by our MD, Adam (although, there is still much more ahead of us that we'd like you to be a part of).
Want to know more about what could be your new role?Reporting to the Finance Manager, this Senior Accounts Payable position is responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process from end to end.
M2 P Engineering is a fast paced, and dynamic organisation that is growing quickly, this role comes with a high level of autonomy and ownership of the accounts payable function.
The Pay:
$80k + super, negotiable dependent on experience.
The Office:
Located in the beautiful suburb of Teneriffe, Brisbane.
Close to plenty of great restaurants, bars and cafes.
The Team:
You'll be joining an experienced finance team reporting into the Finance Manager.
Some of the tasks and duties you will be required to perform include, but are not limited to: Managing the accounts payable process from end to end Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements Processing between invoices per month Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers)
Completing credit applications Ensuring the timely payment of all invoices Assist the rest of the team with other adhoc accounts duties as required To be successful in this position, ideally, you will:
Have proven experience in an Accounts Payable position from within construction, engineering and mining (desirable) Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail Be able to deal with conflicting priorities in a busy & fast-paced environment Be a pro-active team player with strong problem-solving capabilities Have a positive attitude with hard work ethic Strong initiative with a willingness to help others Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and experience with IFS would be an advantage Enjoy solving problems and have a solutions focused mindset Willingness to be a part of an organisation that is growing Enjoy collaborating with team members across the organisation and have a bit a fun along the way.
