Job Description Summary

Exciting opportunity for a Payroll professional to join Service Stream's Business Services team
About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payment of wages, salaries, and invoices
  • Maintain award data and ensure wages payments comply with awards, OEA, arbitrated decisions and consent agreements
  • Manage the process of worker's compensation claims
  • Control the reconciliation of payroll, payroll tax and superannuation payments
  • Calculate and complete the statutory payments for all companies including state payroll taxes, Superannuation, PAYG taxation
  • Assist in the analysis of payroll information for monthly and annual financial reporting
  • Liaise with the People & Culture to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
About You

  • Prior experience in a complex corporate or shared services environment processing a high volume of 24/7, weekly, fortnightly & monthly pay runs
  • Knowledge of Payroll Tax requirements for all States/Territories
  • Experience with Chris21 is highly desired
  • Experience within the construction and/or call centre industries is desirable
  • Exposure to Workday HCM is advantageous, however not essential
  • Experience with 'month end' processing and 24/7 timesheet coding is advantageous
  • Exceptional attention detail and numerical & analytical skills
