Position Description:
Handy Person / Maintenance
Cloverdale are seeking an experienced Handyperson to join our team. The role includes a variety of maintenance requirements to new and pre-existing clients engaged with our other services.


The position is fast paced and if you are up for the challenge, your contribution and commitment will be recognised and rewarded.


Skills:


  • Perform basic tasks including painting and filling crevices, clean facilities and managing maintenance repairs.
  • Install fixtures, such as door & window handles
  • Minor tiling replacement/repairs
  • Inspect damaged framework or other structures and fixtures and advise repair method
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong communication skills with Team and Clients
  • Measuring and calculations
  • Maintenance cleaning
  • Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.

Qualifications:
Ideal but not mandatory

  • Carpentry
  • White card
  • Working with Children's Check
  • Relevant Trade qualification
  • Computer / Literacy Skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Casual


Salary:
$ $34.99 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Flexible hours

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
  • Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Geelong West

VIC:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • White Card (preferred)
  • Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (required)
