About the role


We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Family Violence Practitioner You will provide outreach case management support to women and women with children who have experienced or are currently experiencing family violence.

This role encompasses the delivery of assessment and crisis response.

Responsibilities include

  • Case management support provided to clients
  • Individual case plans are developed in collaboration with clients and include a range of interventions
  • Case plans are implemented and actively led by the participant
  • Clients are assisted to access holistic support services and establish community connections
  • Progress and outcomes of individual case plans are regularly monitored and reviewed
This is a casual position, based in Sunshine, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 5 Award.

What you will have

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work_ (essential)_
  • Experience working in the family violence sector _(desirable)_
  • Experience in specialist family violence and/ or child wellbeing work _(highly desirable)_
  • Demonstrated case management experience and skills
  • Highly developed time management and work prioritisation skills with an ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision required
  • Advanced computer skills including experience in data and record management
  • A Valid Driver's Licence _(essential)_
