Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage in a APS5 Project Officers for a 12-month assignment with potential extension in ADELAIDE CBD

About the team
The Hypercare Team support the national rollout of the PACE CRM. In addition, the team provide hypercare support for each major and BAU production release of PACE.

About the role
The APS5 Project Officer is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position.
The position is required to undertake activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident.

It will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to NDIA's objectives to "build a world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme".

The APS5 Project Officer is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility.

The position will be required to provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.

The position will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries.


Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in project management and coordination activities, monitoring and reviewing program and project activities against plans.
  • Contributing to the development and management of project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency's project management framework.
  • Providing advice, procedural guidance and technical expertise in specific areas of project work.
  • Performing research work and analysis including contributing to the preparation of reports on relevant project activities.
  • Contributing to regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
  • Drafting a range of written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation for review.
  • Assisting with monitoring project budgets, review and report on expenditure and assist with procurement and contract management.
  • Assisting with the identification and management of project risks, issues and benefits.
  • Assisting with project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve program, project and business outcomes.

Key skills required for role/s:


  • Stakeholder management: Ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate outcomes, drive decision making, and manage conflicting or challenging situations.
  • Strategic organisation: To prioritise, plan, allocate and action work.
  • Administration: Tracking and delivering reports.

Desirable skills to have for the role/s:

  • Detailed understanding of SAP and Salesforce CRM platforms
  • Detailed knowledge of NDIA operating systems, practice and processes.
  • Platforms: Experience in the use of Jira and Confluence

- APS5 $55.24/ph + super

- Temporary contract for 12 months, with possibility to extend
**- Standard Hours or work - Monday to Friday, 8:30 am till 5:00 pm 37.5hrs per week
