We are seeking an Experienced Housekeeping Coordinator to join our Housekeeping team in a leading 5-Star Hotel in Brisbane City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily signing in and out of all worksheets and all keys to associates
  • Control rooms cleaning flow and return
  • Allocation
  • Ensure that all guest requests are logged correctly at all times and dealt with in a speedy and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that any complaints are dealt with in a professional manner. Take immediate corrective action and ensure that all complaints are passed onto a supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
  • Communicate daily with Front Office, Engineering and related departments for all requirements. Ensure that prior work is carried out.
  • Responsible for reporting all maintenance to the Engineering Department through work orders on the computer system
  • Communicate daily with staff members and supervisors information, which is designated from the Housekeeping office.

What we need from you

  • A minimum 1 year proven experience as a housekeeping coordinator experience in a busy hotel
  • Proven experience working with Opera PMS and preferably experience with Hotsos or GXP
  • Flexibility with the ability to step up as a floor supervisor
  • Proven time management skills and the ability to quickly identify issues and find solutions
  • A can do attitude
