As the Manager (Enterprise Hosting), your accountabilities include:

  • Management of TMR's physical data centres and Z mainframe infrastructure including the performance, quality, capacity, initiatives, innovations, operational issues and progress against medium to longer term architectural strategies, including the transition to cloud services and platforms where viable and in conjunction with the Cloud Business Office.
  • Management of TMR's key platform services, including database services, storage, middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, operating system and backup services.
  • Proactively managing vendor relationships and contracts with service providers to meet defined service levels and to explore new opportunities in service delivery.
  • Developing the team's culture and cohesiveness, helping empower staff to identify opportunities and drive business outcomes through leadership and staff development.
  • Contributing to the effective management of IT Branch by adhering, promoting and implementing relevant financial management practices, quality management practices and public administration policies.

About you:


You are an experienced manager with a proven track record managing staff and leading teams of various sizes and levels.

You have experience in service delivery management and ITSM practices at an operational level.

You have an understanding of Information Technology environments with technical knowledge particularly in data centre management, storage lifecycle management and server management both physical and virtual.

You have experience with on-premise and cloud based infrastructure, including the transition and modernisation of large and complex ICT infrastructure.

You also understand project management and Agile principles.
