About the role:

Make an impact and join the Aurizon Bulk NSW team as the Commercial Contracts Manager.

In this role you will support the commercial and contract management requirements, to ensure achievement of growth targets and business objectives.


  • Oversee the effective development of Bulk NSW contractual requirements, supporting contract management requirements to extend, retain or grow.
  • Coordinate the development of relevant reports, plans and forecasting, where required to ensure interface planning functions are aligned with Bulk NSW Business development pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain key account management planning. Including the management, response and resolution of customer related contractual enquiries.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to deliver effective and commercially viable solutions to access issues that support core business and customer objectives.

About you:


  • Preferably hold tertiary qualifications in Commercial, Business Management, Financial, Supply Chain, or similar disciplines.
  • Previous experience (min 3 years) in contract negotiation / account management, preferably in logistics, mining, or transport industry.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of analytical, conceptual, interpretation and problem
- solving skills.

  • You possess strong interpersonal and relationship management skills and can demonstrate strong commercial acumen.
  • Strong ability in identifying, summarising, and presenting complex issues to a range of internal and/or external stakeholders.
