Asia-Pacific MSGC - a standalone and specialized Area cross-service line team that is 100% dedicated to growing our Managed Services business.

The MSGC will provide a vehicle through which EY Asia-Pacific can achieve our Managed Services aspirations

Our TFO practice provides the processes, technology, and people for functional outsourcing, enabled by leading-edge technology and client platforms.

The opportunity


As the Asia-Pacific Managed Services TFO (Tax and Finance Operate) Solution Leader you will ensure that EY invests in the right opportunities and drive innovation in the right areas across Service Lines and markets.

You will achieve this by being on the market, talking to clients about their evolving needs and driving a portfolio of campaigns for priority Managed Services Solutions across Asia-Pacific.


Your key responsibilities

  • Support the Asia-Pacific Managed Services and Asia-Pacific Solution/Offering leaders to develop and execute Managed Services to go market plans specifically in the areas of Financial / Tax Transformation and Finance/ Tax Managed Services
  • Execute on the MS go to market strategy across Asia-Pacific that is utilized by Area and Regional teams to identify, design, develop with clients, and execute high quality MS pursuits
  • Drive new and existing skilled business opportunities, maximize new sales, and sell opportunities.
  • Experience in selling solutions that are based on a global delivery model capability
  • Foster and maintain relationships across target buyers within strategic clients
  • Develop and maintain partner and vendor relationships
  • Collaborate with our aligned sales community to communicate and promote strategic solutions internally
  • Support Asia-Pacific /regional/solution leaders with the development MS GTM programmes and monitor progress comprising awareness development, solution prioritisation, campaign design and development, client engagement and pursuit execution.

Skills and attributes for success

  • You will have experience of business development, solution selling, and the complexities of managed services and Digital Transformation deals within professional services or a similar technology organisation. Likewise, you come from the industry having helped establish, transform, and operate finance and tax organisations
  • Experience in delivery sales and customers outcomes across an internal matrix organisation as well as multiple customer stakeholders
  • The influencing skills to successfully collaborate with senior client and EY stakeholders
  • Experience in selling solutions that are based on a global delivery model capability
  • Demonstrated success working in a matrix environment
  • The ability to effectively forecast, review projection of performance and targets

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's Degree with an advanced degree preferred

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Clientfacing exposure in a global role
  • 15+ years of experience executing complex and large managed service sales deals focused on Financial Transformation (ideally in Finance and Tax systems and processes) and Finance Outsourcing, preferably in a partnership/professional services or technology provider environment
  • Experience in a leadership capacity in a managed services environment
  • Experience structuring, managing, and closing multimillion deals
  • Board presentation experience or experience as a board member
  • Knowledge and understanding of outsourcing and offshoring operating and cost/pricing models for managed services
