About the Role:

Contract position
March start through to 30 June 2024, with an extension possible
Melbourne hybrid but predominantly in the office

Our Value Stream Lead covers a combination of portfolio management - selecting what to deliver based on value, program management - considering release capacity and planning, and transformation - bring continuous improvement to technology enabled delivery.

This role joins the value stream which is in full operation with work progressing through the process at all stages, and essentially needs to keep it all running.

It is an orchestration role bringing the needs of sponsors, project teams, regulatory bodies, and commercial proactive and reactive markets to an optimised use of people and resources.

Partner with key business leaders and engage stakeholders to ensure that strategies are closely aligned with organisational objectives and expectations;
Lead corporate wide initiatives by designing strategic initiatives and engaging stakeholders from the whole of organisation level;
Lead, influence and motivate a customer focused team to achieve Value Stream KPIs and solutions to meet/exceed customer requirements;
Ensure that the team rhythm and planning provides transparent insight into the status and progress of the initiative;
Manage the delivery outcomes of both internal and external functional and technical teams involved in your stream, including vendors and contractors;

About You:
The following experiences are essential and must be evident in recent work:

Intermediate Jira and Confluence skills
Years of engagement with GMlevel stakeholders
Personal confidence and ability to drive a conversation.
Experience working in a regulated environment (utilities, finance, government, etc.)
Broad experience in portfolio/program/project/product delivery for software

Strongly desired attributes and skills also include:

Corporate head-office retail experience
Electricity retail industry experience
Agile SCRUM, SAFe, or similar accreditation
Consumer Data Rights (CDR) exposure/awareness
Value Stream management
