This is a highly strategic role with a focus on driving the E-Commerce business and collaborating teams.


The Head of Digital will oversee and manage their global E-commerce, consisting of Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, and Japan, and would potentially be involved in their China third party driven platforms as well.

This is a role for a very brand and sales-driven executive, with a strong focus on accelerating growth in the client's key strategic markets

Description
Reporting to the CEO, this role is part of the senior leadership team and is considered a pillar role in the business


The role will have a strong focus on high growth targets that requires a strong knowledge of scaling their E-Commerce business and a proven track record of accelerating growth and global experience.

You will be supported by a small team and be open to working in challenging and sometimes ambiguous environments. Their environment is agile and fast but dynamic and exciting.


In addition to the eCommerce team, you will have a global marketing "go-to-market" team working closely with you, in particular the digital experience manager and digital designer.


Key Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for the infrastructure and store design, content navigation, consumer experience, and functionality of the company websites
  • Management of the Global Ecommerce websites/storefronts as part of the Shopify system, including support distributors that operate through the platform
  • Strategic planning for the Ecommerce business and requirements to hit financial targets
  • P&L responsibility for Ecommerce for ANZ, North America, Japan
  • Full responsibility for SEO, SEM, PPC AdWords, and driving optimisation of cost while driving traffic to the website
  • Accountability to own, grow, engage, and drive the CRM and ensure EDMs and other relevant user content is distributed
  • Work closely with other important channels of the business to develop and define the merchandising and buying plans
  • Provide input into the merchandise development plan for coming seasons to ensure merchandise direction is aligned with commercial opportunities
  • Lead weekly meetings with the leadership team and monthly performance reviews

Profile

  • Experience driving and developing a global Ecommerce business and building teams to facilitate high growth
  • Ideally experienced in handling a $100m+ global businesses
  • International experience to understand local needs, culture, and sensitivities to drive the growth
  • Strong background in the apparel, fashion, and/or sportswear industry on a global level
  • Experience driving marketplaces to push further growth
  • Detailed understanding of technical infrastructure, interfaces, and (ideally) coding to work closely with external developing agencies
  • Understand SEO optimisation
  • Comprehension of web analytics, PPC, and CMS tools and programs
  • Extensive experience managing and optimising online media, and performance marketing such as, but not limited to SEM, SEO, Social, Referral, and Partnerships
  • Experience in creating winning cultures and teamwork
