The operation includes a large open pit mine, complex ore processing and beneficiation plant and significant infrastructure and logistics networks.

We are seeking a
Treasury Officer to join our Finance team based in the Perth CBD office.

This role will assist both the CFO and Manager Treasury & Offshore Reporting in obtaining debt financing, debt management and day-to-day treasury management, compilation on reporting analysis for Group requirements.


Responsibilities and Accountabilities;

  • Assist in the organization and submission of new financing and refinancing (renewal) materials, such as opening new bank accounts, bank credit approval, loan disbursement and payment of fees.
  • Support the Manager Treasury & Offshore Reporting in tasks relating to postloan management; such as updating loan information, paying principal and interest, providing loan usage information (contracts, invoices, payment records, etc.), organizing quarterly operating reports, annual asset evaluations, preparing bankstyle budget review reports, and updating financial models for banks.
  • Complete the daily business management of funds to meet the needs of production and operation. This involves assistance to tasks related to daily cash flow and bank account management, withdrawal, foreign exchange, management of time deposits, credit cards, bank authorized signatories and bank online banking management.
  • Assisting in information collation of the treasury department's annual budget, cooperating with finance to complete cost budget, assisting financial bank reconciliation, consulting (letter) certificate, letter of guarantees and other work as required.
  • Complete data collation & analysis for various internal reports in a timely manner as required.
  • Carrying out other duties as requested by the Company Chief Financial Officer.

Essential Qualifications and Experience;

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance field


  • Strong financial acumen

  • Treasury Experience beneficial
  • Strong verbal and written communication in a business environment (Chinese language proficiency will be valuable)
  • Familiar with SAP
  • Strong Microsoft excel experience
  • Must have Australian Citizenship or hold a valid visa with permission to work
  • National Police clearance
