    2 or 3rd Year Apprentice Mechanical Fitters - Field Service Company: Leading Conveyor Maintenance Company Location; based in Beresfield, NSW Full-Time permanent position

    Job Description:
    We are seeking 2 x Apprentice Mechanical Fitters
    • Field Service based at our client's reputable Conveyor Maintenance Company Workshop.
    As an Apprentice Plant Fitter, you will play a crucial role in our team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of conveyor systems.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with some experience to showcase their skills and contribute to the success of our organisation.


    Responsibilities:

    Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and replacements of pulleys, gearboxes, and bearings on conveyor systemsThe company undertakes a range of site activities such as servicing of belt cleaners, application of pulley lagging, installation of belt fasteners and installation and splicing of conveyor belting.

    Conduct inspections to identify faults, diagnose issues, and recommend appropriate solutionsEnsure compliance with safety standards and procedures at all timesCollaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet project deadlinesMaintain accurate documentation of work performed, including reports and service records Requirements:

    Proven experience in maintenance and repair work preferred, not essentialStrong mechanical aptitudeExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressureCommitment to safety and adherence to safety regulationsRegular travel to and from local customer sites, plus workshop workAbility to travel and work on-site at various locations (expect 2 nights away with overnight allowance) overtime opportunities available Positions within the company require an amount of multi skilling and flexibilityValid driver's license essential Benefits: Above award wagesOvertime available for those interested in additional incomeOpportunity to join a leading company in the conveyor maintenance industryWork with a skilled and supportive teamCareer growth and development opportunities within the organization If you have the required experience and skills and are seeking a challenging and rewarding position, we would love to hear from you.
