Reporting to the Portfolio Operations Manager the Facilities Manager will manage the operational, environmental and safety aspects of the Hawaiian commercial assets, to best industry practice, in line with legislative requirements and agreed business plans on a
_12 month full time contract with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Essential Duties

  • Responsibility for the effective operation of all engineering, environmental and property functions.
  • Ensure the presentation of the asset is always of the highest quality.
  • Responsibility for the effective management of all repair and maintenance activities.
  • Effectively manage the afterhours callout/problems in a timely and costeffective manner.
  • Be fully conversant with all Hawaiian Management Operating Systems and perform function in accordance with these.
  • Ensure all service records, drawings and data is stored and managed in accordance with Hawaiian's standard operating system.
  • Prepare accurate annual Repairs and Maintenance Budgets, projects and work programs.
  • Actively manage all FY OPEX works to ensure they are being implemented as per budgets and on time. This includes reviewing and reporting monthly whilst reforecasting as required
  • Manage all tenant works/upgrades, including making recommendations on building services.
  • Deliver CAPEX works as per agreed timing and budget and in full compliance with CAPEX policy.

Qualification Requirements

  • Trade Certificate preferable or mechanical / operational "handson" experience at a minimum
  • Knowledge of mechanical services, hydraulic systems and electrical is viewed as advantageous
  • Knowledge of BMS
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in NABERS and sustainability
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience and ability to quickly learn new systems with training
  • Valid Driver's License and vehicle essential.
