2024 Addiction Medicine Registrar

  • We are seeking applicants for the position of Addiction Medicine Registrar, accredited for advanced training in addiction medicine and addiction psychiatry. The position is based at Royal Melbourne Hospital Addiction Medicine Service, which provides a consultation liaison service, outpatient service, support to the ED based Behavioural Assessment Unit / Crisis Hub, and an outreach service to homeless population in the CBD in partnership with cohealth.
  • Preference is given to existing advanced trainees in addiction medicine and addiction psychiatry and those eligible for training in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry.
  • The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria's largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, subacute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
