About the Role
Due to Company growth there is an opportunity for a full-time Business Development Officer to join the team.

Offering Business Coaching and Mentoring to Trade and Construction Company owners this role requires you to follow up warm leads to generate new business opportunities and to help Tradies optimise their small businesses to achieve incredible results following their training and resources.

Duties:


  • Taking warm leads from their marketing and events team and converting them into meetings
  • Follow simple scripting to prequalify leads for calls and pass information onto the business development managers via CRM (training provided)
  • Generating referrals and new leads to assist in building the sales pipeline.
  • Work closely with the team to navigate meeting schedules and build a lasting team culture and strong working relationship with our Trade clients
  • Inviting trades businesses to join the online learning management system

Skills and Experience:


  • 2+ years' experience in B2B sales desirable
  • Experience working within the trades/construction industry in a sales or business ownership capacity desirable
  • Tenacity and confidence chasing new business over the phone
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • You love talking to people and enjoy a challenge
