The opportunity
Due to growth within the business, we are recruiting for a for a strong people leader to lead our busy Business Support team within our Nominal Insurer Business.
This important role is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and co-ordination of operational activities for a team of assistant case managers who manage the administration support functions across our entire portfolio.
Key priorities include achieving team objectives, driving change, optimising service delivery with icare, our employers and our workers, as well as team performance, and undertaking improvement initiatives as required.

We are looking for a confident and capable professional, who has demonstrated leadership skills and staff development ability and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences at every point of contact.
We require a self-motivated individual who can maintain these levels of excellence through times of change and show resilience in the face of any challenge.
You will possess the following experience and skills:
- Experience leading a team knowledge and experience in Workers Compensation and case management.
- Strong customer service and people skills
- Strong technical skills within Workers Compensation
- High degree of organisational skills and time management and work effectively in a high paced environment.
- Resilience in dealing with and helping team members deal with personal injury insurance claims
- Be able to effectively coach, mentor and develop team members
- Someone who has the energy and attention to detail to be a supportive people leader
- An aptitude for analysing information and making strategic decisions
