As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading maintenance activities, managing a team of skilled technicians, and ensuring the overall efficiency and reliability of the production equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance and expertise.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule and plan maintenance activities to minimise impact on production schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Analyse equipment performance data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency.
- Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring costeffective practices and efficient resource allocation.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to source necessary equipment and services.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety among maintenance personnel.
- Proven track record as a Maintenance Manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably food or dairy;
- Proficiency using CMMS, preferably SAP;
- Excellent leadership and people management skills;
- Tertiary Engineering qualifications, Mechanical, Electrical or similar.
