The Opportunity

Bring your excellent operational management and customer service skills to support the Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC) Director, in the delivery of the Centre's operations and strategy.

Manage a range of strategic and operational priorities, including supporting planning, project resourcing, reporting, business improvement, performance measurement, general resource management, and administration.

Take responsibility for the oversight of all human resourcing issues across the Centre including working closely with Centre senior staff to coordinate workload allocation of both academic and professional staff to ensure high quality delivery of MUARC research outcomes within schedule and budget.

The position will also be responsible for direct supervision of the Centre's communications and research support professional staff.

Work closely with the Centre's Senior Research Coordinator, MUARC Research Team Leaders, senior staff and the broader university to support the Director through:

Identifying and fostering engagement with industry partners
Identifying and evaluating research opportunities
Coordinating responses to tenders, requests for proposals and other funding opportunities
Monitoring and managing contract compliance
Managing research translation and Intellectual Property matters

Deliver high-level professional services for the Centre and drive the effective achievement of the priorities of the Centre, providing expert advice and support at both strategic and operational levels.
