Our client, in the medical industry, is seeking an AP/AR officer to come onboard due to organisational growth. High volume of AP/AR needs to be processed.

Located in the South Eastern Suburbs, this is a permanent position with a hybrid work model.


You will be responsible for:

Reporting to the Financial Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • The accurate processing of local and international Group Accounts Payable invoicing.
  • Payment of creditors both local and international.
  • Bank account reconciliations.
  • Coordinating and processing Group Payroll functions.
  • Managing the Accounts Receivable ledgers.
  • Processing credit claims.
  • Reconciliation of selected accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintenance of customer and supplier databases.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to improve both accounts receivable and payable procedures.
  • Liaising with major customers and suppliers.

You are pragmatic and focused, with an eye for continuous improvement. Your initiative and enthusiasm is recognized as a strength.


You can also demonstrate:

  • D365 Business Central ERP, or similar, experience (this is a bonud)
  • Accounts payable and general accounting experience. (We are open to graduates)
  • A working knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficiency in intermediateadvanced MS Office especially Excel.
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
