The Company


People2people are excited to be working with a global supply chain logistics business who provides ocean and air freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution services, and supply chain management.

They are excited to be seeking a self-motivated Storeperson/Driver to join the team.

This role will see you recieveing and delivering goods from the airport to our warehouse as well as ad-hoc duties in the warehouse.


About the role:

The Storeperson/Driver will be responsible for carrying out duties as instructed by their Supervisor to meet operating requirements.

Duties included but are not limited to:

  • Driving to and from pickup and delivery locations
  • Loading and unloading freight and goods for delivery
  • Ensuring freight is well packed and secured within the vehicle
  • Adherence to SOP's and internal processes for safe storage and transport of goods, and the nature of the equipment being transported
  • Lifting of equipment using lifting aids
  • Observing speed limits and obeying all traffic regulations and road signage
  • Maintaining driving records (e.g., driver logbooks, mileage records, fuel receipts)
  • Inspecting and undertaking vehicle checks to the assigned vehicle to ensure working condition of brakes lights, wipers, windshield, fire extinguisher, flares, and other safety equipment in the truck and performing simple vehicle maintenance (e.g., maintaining appropriate air pressure in tyres, refuelling)
  • Ensure all POD documentation is signed prior to departing the delivery or pickup site
  • Ensure pallet management documentation is filled out timely and accurately
  • Providing a Daily Run Sheet with associated paperwork to the designated internal stakeholder
  • Picking, packing of stock, receiving, checking, dispatching, and sorting of products and orders
  • Ensure daily customer KPIs are met with regards to order preparation, picking, packing, and shipping
  • Loading and unloading of trucks, containers as required by hand or with MHE (forklift, pallet jack, etc)
  • Operating company forklifts ensuring safety is maintained at all times
  • Perform accurate stock control, ensuring systems are updated and maintained as required
  • Support Supervisor in managing stock levels, notifying, and reporting any stock loss/damage as soon as possible
  • Develop, review, update and maintain SOPs, workflows, and processes in line with Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements, and communicate to team members as appropriate

Essential Criteria:


  • High School Certificate or equivalent (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a commercial driver
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within a warehouse environment
  • Valid and current forklift licence (essential)
  • Valid, open drivers' licence with no restrictions (must have MR licence)
