What will you do?:


Your success in this role will support the merchandise function and optimise sourcing outcomes by establishing relationships, aligning processes, driving product, cost, quality, operational efficiencies and enhancing transparency.

You'll be benchmarking, invigorating and driving alignment between costing, quality, merchandise and buying teams.


Other responsibilities include:


  • Supporting and managing the merchandise teams to achieve critical path milestones and maximise outcomes
  • Providing production management and costing advice to designers, buyers, and offshore teams to deliver best quality and costing options for customers
  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to embed critical paths and ensure adherence to timelines through the product development and production cycle

What are we looking for?:


A strong communicator who has the ability to understand our customers, commercially interpret trends and build strong cross functional relationships to achieve business objectives.


  • Minimum of 5 years' production/sourcing management experience in apparel in a high volume retail environment
  • An accomplished negotiator with the ability to achieve results and build robust partnerships both internally and externally
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to operate across large retail buying teams
  • Detailed understanding of product development, costing, manufacturing and critical path management
  • Solid understanding of the total retail landscape
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or related in retail highly advantageous
