Procurement Officers who will play a crucial role in managing strategic procurement projects while collaborating closely with key stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:

Lead strategic procurement projects in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring that risk, probity, and transparency requirements are addressed.
Deliver highquality procurement advice and services covering procurement planning activities, sourcing documentation development, release and evaluation processes, contract negotiation, contract management including sound Category Management functions and administration activities.
Monitor and advise on financial, contract management and procurement systems compliance, in accordance with QPS policies and procedures and the State Procurement Policy.
Exercise a Procurement Delegation for sourcing activities validating that the procurement process undertaken has been in accordance with QPS policies and procedures and the Queensland State Procurement Policy.
Administer contracts in collaboration with Contract Managers in accordance with the principles of the Queensland Government Contract Management Framework.
Negotiate and consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement and contract related issues to identify specific business needs and to facilitate compliance within the required timeframes.

Technical/Operational/Educational Experience:

Experience in SAP.
Knowledge of Supply Chain Methodology and/or Queensland Information Technology Contracting Framework is highly regarded.
Queensland Government Level 3 Procurement Certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
