Your Role as a Librarian Children and Youth (Program Support)**:

As a Librarian for Children and Youth (Program Support), you will play a key role in developing and implementing educational and fun programs for young audiences.

You will collaborate with the team to create a welcoming environment and promote technology and digital collections to enhance learning experiences.


Are you the perfect fit?:


  • Degree or Graduate Diploma in Library & Information Services recognised by the Australian Library & Information Association (ALIA) or equivalent
  • Experience working with young people in a library or educational setting
  • Current Working with Children Check number
  • An enthusiastic interest in literature for young people and a passion for promoting literacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A keen interest in technology and emerging trends in library services.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Package:

$88,038 - $93,324 gross p.a. (full time equivalent) plus 11% superannuation.

Hours of work: Permanent part-time opportunity, (21 hours per week over 7 days)
