Operations Centre Analyst | Brisbane | IT Service Provider/NFP
The Role


Our client is seeking a highly motivated helpdesk support individual who is keen to build their career in IT across multiple platforms and technologies.

They are a unique environment with their own NOC and SOC's and were one of the first businesses to offer internet services within Australia (yes really).

They take pride in starting out junior tech professionals and upskilling them into future IT superstars.

You will be a recent graduate looking to break into the world of technology.

You could have previous experience as an IT Intern, or maybe you're in a customer service/retail sales role and have a home-lab set up to troubleshoot IT issues.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide Level 1 helpdesk support (logging of IT tickets and basic troubleshooting)
    within a NOC environment:
  • Being first POC for vendors, ticket triaging, infrastructure monitoring
  • Provide over the phone support for basic networkrelated issues
  • Provide fantastic customer service at all times
  • Escalate complex issues to senior staff

Requirements for the position:

You need to be happy working on a rotating roster that will include overnight, weekends, and public holidays
  • These night shifts can be done from home

  • Enthusiasm to break into the IT industry
  • Basic networking knowledge (UDP, TCP, DNS)
  • Driven to learn and wants to complete certifications
  • Strong communication both written and verbally
  • Strong customer service focus

You must be:


  • An Australian Citizen
  • COVID vaccinated (fully)
  • Willing to work a rotating roster (24×7 schedule)
Eg. 10pm-6am / 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
